Writing History
I have been writing since I was little. My first story was written in Courier New font to mimic a typewriter. It was a mystery story, though I can't remember what the plot was at all. I know I gave it to my uncle as a gift. My stories tend to revolve around mysteries, romance, and magical realism. I've been writing fanfiction on the Internet under different pseudonyms for years.
Tangible Arts
I discovered my love of crocheting, painting, drawing, and pastels after a depressive episode in undergrad. I was the brainy, logical kid in school so I spent a lot of time doing homework. Aiming to be the best. When undergrad shattered that perfect illusion, I found myself turning to creative pursuits. In addition to my writing, I found tangible arts exciting. I was a beginner again and I could be bad at them. I am still working on my perfectionism, but one of my favourite things about the creative journey is learning.
Sunshine Funhouse and Sharing
Sharing is the final part of the creative process. It's letting your creations go and letting them interact with the world. This is the part that always scared me the most (hence the pseudonyms (and you know, internet safety as a young person)). So, part of Sunshine Funhouse and Sunshine Musings is a challenge to myself. To take my creative projects to the end.
